Obford Ltd · Infrastructure & Operations

Nobody notices good infrastructure.

Helping businesses look after the infrastructure people rely on every day, from servers and cloud services to laptops and internal tools. One to one direct support, promising to leave things secure, manageable and easier for everyone who uses them.

Services

Four things, done properly.

Practical work that makes technology easier to use, easier to trust and altogether less troublesome.

01

Infrastructure

Servers, storage, networks, virtualisation and Azure. Thoughtfully organised around the people and business they support.

02

IT operations

Devices, accounts, upgrades, joiners and leavers. Kept secure and running smoothly, so people can get on with their work.

03

Tooling

Scripts and applications that take repetitive work away and make everyday jobs quicker, simpler and less frustrating.

04

Security & reliability

Sensible protection, tested backups and useful monitoring. Enough to keep the business safe without making good work harder.

History

Six years in the field.

Six years spent learning how businesses use technology, where it lets people down and how much better it can be.

The bear

Trust in the bear.

The bear belongs to the Beresford arms, chosen for my grandfather, whose hard work and example has made the family name something I really care about.

Putting that name on my work is a promise that I'll look after its reputation.

Certification

Currently working through.

Consistently learning and growing.

Tell me what is making work harder.

A couple of sentences is plenty. Tell me what is going wrong, what keeps being postponed or what you would simply like to work better. I will take it from there.
